Thatcham Glass Centre can be as fully involved in this service as required
If any of your existing double/triple glazed sealed units are misted up, this means that condensation is now forming between the panes of glass and these units have failed and will need replacing. It can often happen gradually over the lifespan of your double/triple glazing. The downside to the failure of a sealed unit is that you lose the energy and sound efficiency that a unit in good condition would provide you with. If you notice one unit has failed, it would be worth checking your entire home.
All our sealed units are manufactured to the highest British standards. Thatcham Glass Centre can supply only, or supply and fit. All you need to do is give us a call! Our friendly team will arrange a convenient time with you to come and have a look. We will then give you a quote to replace any failed units.
To save on the cost of replacing the whole window (frame) that may still be in a healthy condition, we are able to provide you with either a single, double and triple glazed units. If the frame is still in a good condition, the good thing is that it's only the glass that will need replacing.
Double and triple glazed units can add:
- much better insulation.
- much better acoustic absorption.
- much better security through multiple panes, which are more difficult to break through.
Double glazed units vary in thickness from 12mm to 28mm and beyond depending on application. There is no standard thickness.
There are many variations of high-performance glass, which achieve many different levels of insulation values. Price requests and information will be given upon application.
Anti-sun Tinted Glass available in bronze, grey, green and blue. Furthermore, UPVC bars can be requested within the unit as well as Textures/Patterns and obscurity options.
We offer a high-quality fitting service for all UPVC, Wood and Aluminium windows and doors, that can fit any shape and size.
